"Catching fish is what it is all about!" On the opening day of Rockfish Season-97, Steve brought a party of friends to Rock Hall for what has grown to be a once a month trip.

Mr. Steve Tatusco
Stockbroker,
Leesburg, Virginia

"The biggest fish I ever caught was a 4 pound black bass. This 20 pounder is now it! With 300 yards of line and the advice of the Captain, I boated with no problem. The down side - I didn't catch the biggest one!" "Been back several times and will keep doing it! It just doesn't get much better than this!"

Jim McDaniel
Educational Association Staffer
Fairfax Station, Virginia

One thing is for sure, Bob Gibson can find the fish in the bay. He knows the Bay, its weather, its bottom and its fish. If the fish are bitin', he knows where they are and what they take. This fish was taken on light tackle and by "chumming."

Glenn Bortner
45" length and 27 pounds

This nice fish was about all that Brian and Ben, Daddy's Girl II mate, could hold. Another one of the many fish available from the Chesapeake. Do not believe the rumors, there are still good rockfish in the bay.

Brian Wallsley
47" length and 30 pounds

Gregory's with Keeper Stripers May 1, 2000 "We like to start our fishing season on the Chesapeake Bay. What better way than a limit of spring stripers!"

Georgia, Wayne and Evertt Gregory and Kathy and Jim McCaffrey from New Jersey (May 1st, 2000)
